I don’t know why I bother setting lofty blogging goals for the month of December because every year it starts out with a bang and doesn’t let up until December 26. This year has been no exception.

Business at the bookstore has picked up tremendously, and then there’s been the decorating and organizing up there, also. I’ve worked late a couple of nights there, E.B. has 2 Christmas performances in the next few days (church and school), sneaking in wrapping gifts while people are asleep, the last of what we hope will be the yardwork this year (I was seriously mowing my yard in shorts today), and on and on.

Shall I go on? Because I can go on….for real. No?

Ok then.

So those are just a few of the reasons I took an unplanned week off from blogging.
