Despite the fact that on Christmas Eve I was still running around like a crazy woman while finishing up the last minute details, we had an amazing Christmas. Just seeing E.B. get so excited over everything about Christmas just absolutely made it such a special experience this year.
The very best ornaments on the tree were made by E.B. He proudly brought these home from school last Friday. I proudly hung them right up!

He went super nuts over the Thomas train set his great-grandmother gave him on Christmas Eve. We also had to stay up until 1:00 AM on Christmas Eve because the child just would. not. give. it. up until this set was put together and he had a chance to play with it. Poor hubby.

Surprisingly, the play kitchen Santa brought has been a huge hit. It was the first thing out of all of the toys under the tree he noticed and ran to! I’ve been treated to some of the most delicious plastic food cuisine ever in the past few days.

And now it’s all over, except for taking down the decorations and finding a place for all the new toys. If I had to sum it up in one word I would say we are blessed, indeed. I wish everyday could be like Christmas.

I just stopped by to see how your Christmas went. We got Alex the exact same kitchen. She loves it, but boy what a pain to put together. Have a Happy New Year.
Looks like fun! We have a cute little plastic kitchen that is sadly neglected. My girls are getting to old to play with it much. Where did the time go?
That looks like the same kitchen set I tried to nab during Black Friday. It went so quick though.
we love the same cuisine around here! i know he will have a ball!
Plastic food cuisine is the best!! Katelyn got a Dora kitchen from Santa and loves serving all of us!
How fun! There’s nothing like Christmas morning with a child.
I have some of the ornaments I made when I was in kindergarten and they’re among my favorites!
Lovin’ E.B.’s ornaments, too, And if every day was like Christmas, it wouldn’t be Christmas, would it? I’m so glad you all had a merry one.

Ornaments made by our kids are the best, in my book! So cute!!
Ah yes, I took down our tree the day after but begged my hubby to let us keep our lights up outside until next weekend!
Awwwww…. love those ornaments!
Cute pictures! 🙂
Love the ornaments and the kitchen!
Oh looks like you had a wonderful time. I still have to post my Christmas day pics.
Looks like E.B. had a wonderful Christmas! We have to start “purging” some of the older toys to make room for the new ones!
Merry Christmas!
