In the far away kingdom of Dor… lived a brave and virtuous mouse with comically oversized ears who dreamt of becoming a Knight. Banished from his home for having such lofty ambitions, Despereaux sets off on an amazing adventure with his good-hearted rat friend, Roscuro, who leads him, at long last, on a very noble quest to rescue an endangered princess and save an entire kingdom from darkness.

We recently had the opportunity to review an advanced copy of The Tale of Despereaux which is coming out on DVD April 7th. If you click the video above you will instantly see why we loved it. E.B. is fond of any movie featuring an animated mouse. With a fantastic message and a loveable little mouse just trying to find his place in the world, The Tale of Despereaux is a must-have for your home DVD collection.

The Tale of Despereaux is also jam packed with great bonus features and while supplies last, you will also receive a free Kodak Gallery pocket photo book (a $9.99 value) with the purchase of the DVD on specially marked packages.

The Tale of Despereaux is rated G and has a suggested retail price of $29.98.

So you guys liked it. I was wondering about that one. It looked a little strange in the previews but we might have to test drive it from the dollar box.
