Thrilling Adventures

Posted on November 6, 2010April 27, 2014 by Mandy

Are you looking for the perfect Christmas gifts for those on your list who are into big adventures?  If you know people who live for the rush of adrenaline that only something big and bold can offer, thinking outside of the box to make their wildest dreams come true can make for the perfect gift-giving idea.

What are some great adrenaline-pumping gift ideas?  How about skydiving?  Perhaps rally driving?  Thrill seekers will love those “out of the ordinary” once in a lifetime experiences they wouldn’t normally be able to take part in  on a daily basis.  Whether you’re looking for an adventure on land, air, or water, activities like scenic helicopter rides, bungy jumping, and parasailing can be exciting experiences for those that are fearless.

Gifts for men can sometimes be tough to choose, but nearly every man can appreciate a fun and thrilling experience they know their buddies wouldn’t have.  How much fun would that be for conversations around the water cooler at work?  Men often times have everything and choosing a gift for them that is unique and different can be difficult, but providing them with a thrilling adventure would make for a great gift they won’t soon forget.

Pledge Multi-Surface Cleaners

Posted on November 5, 2010November 5, 2010 by Mandy

I’m always looking for cleaning products that will simplify my cleaning routine.  It seems like everything you buy has to be cleaned in its own special way.  Thanks to Pledge, I can give every piece of furniture in my house a shine without having to worry about if I am going to ruin the finish.  One can for so many surfaces really makes cleaning a breeze!

I was recently sent a can of Pledge Lemon Clean Furniture Spray to test out in my home.   I used it on all of our household furniture and was most impressed with the job it did on our kitchen table.  We have a beautiful oak dining set that I normally wipe down with a wet cloth after meals.  After using the Pledge on it, it shined like it was brand new.  I had never realized how dull looking the wood had become on it from wiping it down with water.

My computer desk is also made from laminate wood and it, too, becomes dull looking after I dry dust it.  The Lemon Pledge also gave it a beautiful shine without hurting the finish.

Not only will Pledge clean and protect your surfaces, but it also removes up to 90% of allergens in dust.  If you or a family member struggles with allergies, this is definitely worth using as every little bit of effort to keep your home healthy helps.

The Pledge® aerosol (Natural Beauty, Clean & Shine, Dust & Allergen, Protection Plus and Extra Moisturizing) family of formulas can be used to dust, clean, shine and give limited protection to the following surfaces: sealed wood and wood laminates, synthetic wood surfaces (IKEA), stainless steel, leather, sealed marble, sealed granite, vinyl and chrome.  This would include car dashboards (vinyl) and car seats (leather or vinyl).

Overall, I was very impressed with the results from using Lemon Pledge and will use it again in the future.   The smell is also wonderful, leaving behind a fresh, lemony scent.  I love how a clean home smells!  I can’t wait to give it a try in our car.  I normally buy another car cleaning product for that, but now I won’t have to!

This was a sponsored post on behalf of S.C. Johnson and One2One Network.  All opinions are honest and my own.
