Holidays With Hickory Farms (Giveaway)

I know I’ve been writing quite a bit lately about things that were always part of my childhood holidays, and yes, Hickory Farms was one of those products that was always around at holiday family get-togethers. Everything was delicious, and the sweet treats in this gift basket were unexpected and very much enjoyed! I can’t decide what item was my very favorite as it was all wonderful, but chocolate covered pretzels are always appreciated in this house!

Thanksgiving 2012

Well, another Thanksgiving is in the books and it’s back to work for me today. I really enjoyed being off for 9 delicious days, but it seems like it went so fast! I did manage to clean out two closets while I was off, so I feel a bit more organized, which helps me feel better all around. I’m one of those people that feels like their whole world is off balance if everything isn’t in its place.

We managed to get a semi-decent family picture on Thanksgiving Day at my aunt’s house.

And my heart….

And here is my Thanksgiving dinner.

It was TOO good, as usual, but I was sooo miserable for the rest of the day and night! I only had one plate, too.

And there was much napping…..(for me AND him!)

Probably because his daddy wore him out by taking him to the park three days in a row!

And making kitty Clyde look silly by turning up his ears….

And catching up on TV shows. I’m currently obsessed with Doomsday Preppers and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, two shows that are as completely opposite as can be!

I even managed to get the Christmas tree and décor up Saturday evening.

It’s been a fabulous nine days, and now it’s back to work. I hope your Thanksgiving was just as wonderful.
