Hubby came down with a serious case of Christmas spirit and is now outside in the freezing cold decorating our front yard. With lights. And fugly plastic candy canes that light up. And blue icicles. Blue. Nevermind the fact that I went and specifically purchased WHITE icicles to hang from our house so every light would be WHITE and match the rest of the lights we put up. I also thought the blasted plastic candy craps…erm…canes…had “disappeared”.
To add insult to injury my mother purchased E.B. a huge inflatable Christmas holiday yard ornament of some sorts….she was telling me about it over the phone and she lost me at “inflatable”. My ears began to ring, my head started swimming, and my plans of a tasteful holiday yard were once again blasted to smithereens.
Halp!

Stop by my blog and watch the video of our new “flashing to the music” house. It’s all my husband wanted for Christmas.
It’s on my “Not Me” post.
What is it about men and outdoor illumination?? I think it’s a guy thing.
You know you have to post photos.
Dont be a scrooge….just enjoy that you weren’t out there decorating with him 🙂
and I tagged you….stop by my site to see.
I hate inflatable’s, the Turkey’s at Thanksgiving look a little creepy. I’ll have to post a picture of this yard close to the beach..it is horrible,…. they have so many Christmas inflatable’s can’t see their ground.
Roll with it! It’s all fun.
oh my…I don’t think I’ve seen blue icicles.
Love it! I’m sure it’s not as bad as you think! I’ve got something for you on my blog! Check it out..
Oh please excuse me chuckling over here…We don’t do so much outside decorating in The Big City.
I like reading about you folks with yards;)
At least your husband decorates for Christmas. I have to do all of it myself every year because my DH is never home. And besides, I’m sure EB loves it.
hee hee hee!
Please oh PLEASE post a picture of this holiday loveliness! 🙂
Welcome to a Griswold’s family Christmas!

Just keep repeating the mantra….it’s for the kid, it’s for the kid! i had to as we decorated our “kid” friendly tree this year! 🙂
I continue my annual battle to fight off the non-white lights. So far I am winning…but it is only a matter of time.
You forgot some pink flamingos wearing Santa hats.
Gotta love the BLUE icicles!!!
A few years ago, I just gave in and bought a blow up snow globe for our yard…the girls love it so I really don’t care if I’m on the tacky list! Just enjoy it!
