I plan to watch the Superbowl at home with my family. Hopefully it’ll be a good game. I plan on backing the Cardinals, but I’d be okay if either team wins. I was rather disappointed with last years commercials, so I hope they’re better this year. The halftime show has been a little disappointing over the last few years. We’ll see about that one too.

Maybe if the halftime show is bad (or the game is a snoozer) I can head on over to the Pepsi http://www.refresheverything.com
website and make a video up for the new President.

We are hosting our first ever Super Bowl party this year, usually we head out to the bar or someone else’s home to watch and party.

In exchange for the heavily discounted beer (i.e., usually free) beer our friends provide, we usually supply a huge spread of food for us and them. It’s always a a great atmosphere, and should be even better this year since many of us are from Pittsburgh and will be rooting for our Steelers!

As you come in you get a pin on button with either and “A” or”B” on it. Once everyone is here, each group picks a captain and they do paper, rock, siccors, to decide which team they will cheer for during the game. We serve no alcohol since everyone will need to drive home. We have a TV in the kitchen where the food is, the big screen going in the family room. The teenagers will probably end up in the game room in the basement (probably texting their friends) the little kids in the play room. Good food, good friends, hopefully a good game.

I was at the dentist yesterday and before I left I wanted to schedule having my wisdom teeth pulled. The office person suggested Jan. 31. I say sure and start to add it to my calendar.

Then the lightbulb went off and I said, “wait, when is the Superbowl?” We went online and I rescheduled for March (my mom’s birthday is in Feb on the only day the surgeon is available).

The office person is going to call all the patients who are scheduled to have invasive work done on the 31st.

We were supposed to be having people over but now I think we’re going to a party so this would be a great hostess gift.
