Free St. Patrick’s Day Printables for Kids

Do you have a cute St. Patrick’s Day craft but need a cute printable to go along with it?  Perhaps you need a St. Patrick’s Day game, word search, wall art, or cupcake topper?  I have them all rounded up right here!  I am so excited about this collection of free St. Patrick’s Day printables because there are just so many great things to choose from!  And free?  You can’t beat that!  These printables are great to keep the kids busy and having fun while learning about Irish culture.  The Bingo game is my personal favorite.  I can’t wait to print that out to use for a fun center in our library.  Any form of Bingo is always a hit with my students!  The word search is also great for teaching students new vocabulary words.

Valentine’s Day Word Search-Free Printable for Heart Day Fun

This Valentine’s Day Word Search is a free printable for you!  Along with coloring pages, my students love word searches.  I often use these for theme-related centers in the library and use the words to teach vocabulary skills.  I also believe that puzzles like this exercise the brain a little!  Of course, the kids think they are fun.  Holiday word searches are especially cool, and this printable Valentine’s Day word search is perfect for adding in a little fun.  Know what else?  It would be a great activity for a school Valentine’s Day party.

My students sometimes like to work on these together and see who can be the first to find all the words.  Some of them are pretty fast, too!  This is a great filler when students have finished their work and are teetering on the edge of boredom.  You know….that student. *ahem*   You can even have students turn the page over and write a sentence with each word.  My students always look forward to the different holidays because they know they will get a fun word search.  Finding different words also helps increase their vocabulary.  This is because they get introduced to words they might have never seen before.  They love them so much they even ask for extras to take home to work on.

You could also read the kids a book about Valentine’s Day while they work on this.  Need a fun game to play?  Print out this free Valentine’s Day matching game.  This game is a great center activity as well.  Perfect for those younger students who are learning to match.

I may get my students to write the name of a book they absolutely love on this printable and then let them color it and display their creations in the library windows.  Making a Valentine’s Day display for the library would be fun.  This could also make some cute and easy Valentine’s for your little ones to color and give to friends and family.  Looking for a heartfelt gift?
