A Day In The Life of Clyde, A 16 Pound Spoiled Cat

Spread the love

Greetings from Clyde the Cat.

Ahhhh…the weather is beautiful. Hot, sunny…just the way I likes it.  It’s so peaceful out here in the lush, green grass.

clyde

I think I’ll just lay here in the grass and dream of tuna fish.  Tuna fish is the best. thing. ever.  Just the sound of the can opener sends me running as fast as I can.  My human says it’s only for a special treat.  I clearly need it every day to maintain this shapely physique.

She sometimes tries to fool me with these tuna treats.

Ahhhh. I have THE BEST LIFE. Free room and board, freedom to roam, free food. And naps. Don’t forget the naps.  Naps are what I do the very best, besides the tuna.  Humans call it beauty sleep and I can’t help but agree.  It takes lots of work, I mean naps, to look this good.  Look at how cute I am when I sleep.

Wait a minute. Wait. Just. A. Minute. I thought I heard somethings….

Oh, cat doodles. It’s that kid thing that lives around here. Ever since my humans brought that thing home three years ago it’s been loud. Can’t someone do something about that kid thing?  I mean, he’s cute.  But he moves around so much.  He is always so very busy.  Does he have an off switch?  A return policy?  Just kidding.  Kind of.

Kid Thing, can’t you see I’m trying to get my beauty rest here? Go AWAYS. Is he raising his hand at me? Did he just…? Oh no he di’nt!

Fine. You know what? Fine. But let it be known I’m leaving because I am Clyde and I WANTS to. NOT because of Kid Thing.  I’m not listening to anyone.  I am my own person…ermm…I mean cat.  Respect me!

They say pets lower their owner’s blood pressure. I wonder what our pet’s blood pressure is like sometimes …
