One of the best parts about my job as a librarian is hosting our school’s annual reading fair. I absolutely love seeing the reading fair projects my students complete! Every year I am just wowed over their projects and the hard work they put into them. My kids are early elementary aged, so of course they require lots of help from home, but the heart of the project comes in the presentation of those projects to the judges, and that’s something those kids have to be able to do all on their own. This year I picked out 25 reading fair projects for early elementary from our school to share with you in hopes of inspiring a little creativity for your own child if you have no idea where to start.
25 READING FAIR PROJECTS
If you’re new to reading fairs or need even more information or ideas, start here. Each year I share the best projects that I personally come across from my own school and other reading fairs I’ve judged in the past.
