I know after my last post you all are probably just hanging on the edge of your seats, salivating for the grand pictures of the gigantic snowman, the recipe for “snow cream”, and excerpts on how we spent our big snow day at home because school and work was cancelled!

So, Wednesday evening, the weathermen on all of our local viewing area channels were in a tizzy! The BIG ARTIC BLAST was coming. There would be ICE! SNOW! HAZZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS! The Weather Channel even sent out their top dogs to the deep South to cover this amazing event because we were totally in for it! I made the obligatory trip to Wal-Mart and the place was absolutely trashed because THE BIG ONE was coming!

So, being the fun mom I am, I let E.B. stay up later than usual that night. He was darn near squealing with excitement, and so was I. Because when we woke up, there would be SNOW!!!

And then we woke up….and it was cold. No snow. No school cancellation. No work cancellation. But, OH WAIT!! Sleet! All 10 minutes of it! And then flurries!!! We have flurries, people!!! Here it comes!!!

And so it flurried. And flurried. And flurried. As of today, we still have flurries, but not one drop of accumulated snow. None. We got NONE!

Thanks again Mother Nature! And the next time I want my local forecast, I’ll just grab my Magic 8 Ball since that’s just as accurate as what the weatherman says.

Thats funny. The weathermen here in San Diego stink too. They say one thing and then another happens.

Unfortunately, we had snow and lots of it. School was canceled for two days but I still had to go in to work. Seems to be a little better now, just cold.
As for weather forecasts, I always say there's a 50/50 chance for anything. That way I'm never wrong!
