These past few weeks, I have definitely been a “multitasking mama”. The end of school activities, ballgames, and everyday chores leave me with very little time to sit down. When I do sit down, it’s usually to catch up on email or make phone calls. Sometimes, I do both at one time. I’ll be the first to admit I’m not the greatest at multitasking. I do better when my mind and hands are free to focus on one thing at a time.

The VTech CS6859 cordless telephone makes talking on the phone while working on other things so much more manageable. If you’re a busy person, you will appreciate the cool features this phone offers and it will surely become the hub of your home for all of your telecommunications needs.

MY THOUGHTS

It’s hard to narrow down just which feature of this phone is my favorite because so many of them come in so handy.  Of course, I love call screening to see who is calling.  It’s also great to have a cordless phone that has an answering system for those times when calls are missed.  The intercom feature is probably what has sold me on this phone.  Being able to have my hands free while I talk is so important because I’m usually doing something else while talking on the phone.  I can also silence the ringer on the handset and base unit for those times when I want to “unplug” without having to literally unplug and miss calls.

Overall, I’m very pleased with quality and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone looking for a new cordless telephone that does it all for a great price.  This phone retails for $39.95.

Besides the Quiet Mode (I love that you can turn off the ringer!), the fact that it can store 50 calls is a great help!
