This past Saturday, I had the opportunity to help my mama with a Trunk-or-Treat at our church’s harvest festival. Hubby was off enjoying a football game with a friend, and the Teen was doing his own thing, so I said, “Sure! Why not?”
There was a hot dog dinner, some games inside, a cake walk, a hay ride, and, of course, a trunk-or-treat. I mainly just handed out candy and oohed and ahhed over the cute little kids and their costumes. I sure do miss those days when The Teen was small, and he enjoyed these types of things. Once it was just about all over, I went around and took some pictures of a few of the decorated cars, so I thought I would share them here.
Those pumpkins are just the cutest! I had no idea they sold trunk-or-treat decoration kits, but apparently, it is a thing!
I plan to join my mama, my cousin, her daughter, and my aunt for lunch today. I have purchased two big bags of candy to hand out tonight if we have trick-or-treaters. Once it’s gone, we are done! I say “if” because it looks like it may be a very rainy Halloween night here.
I hope you have a spooktacular day!

We don’t have trunk or treat events here, but I think they’re a great idea. I think they’ve become quite popular in recent years.

Looks like fun

We took Lily to a “trunk or treat” event yesterday in town. Unfortunately, we received a couple inches of snow the night before and not a lot of cars showed up.

Oh, I do like those trunk decorations! I hope you had a lovely lunch and had fun handing out candy. We didn’t get any trick or treaters in my neighborhood.

I never knew there were kits for that either! Looks like a fun time.
We don’t get any trick or treaters in our area, so it’s quiet here.
