We try to prepare the night before but it doesn’t always happen. So we will just get up a little earlier and go from there. Less chaos and smiles on our faces.
Great giveaway. Thanks

I try and turn home work assignments into a game or fun way of doing it so its easier to get the rest of the things we have to do that nite to get ready for the next day and he actually enjoys homework.
Set the amount for a clothing budget and then let the kids choose their school clothes, within reason. Guaranteed, they won’t want to get the $120 jeans when the budget is $300.

We get the backpacks packed the night before which saves time in the morning. I also back their lunches the night before.
Organize your child’s wardrobe (hang matching tops and bottoms on one hanger) to minimize the time it takes to get ready and end any confusion about whether something matches or not.

I do menu planning for the week on Sundays. It makes things simpler when we know what we are going to eat. I also lay out clothes and get backpacks packed up the night before. It saves me from many major headaches 🙂
My tip is to plan ahead and get as much as possible organized and ready the night before: lay out clothes; check backpack and leave it by the door; put non-perishables in lunchbox; have rest of lunch ready and in refrigerator or freezer all ready to place into lunchbox.

My biggest tip is to organize your school area (we school at home) and get lots of pencils, a good pencil sharpener, and lots of computer paper and ink.
My daughter’s not in school yet, but I know I’m going to leave her notes in her lunch box for the first few days.

Get on a first name basis with your child’s teachers and get their email addresses.
We try to do a lot the night before, homework done, lunches packed, backpacks packed, clothes laid out. It makes the mornings slightly less hectic!

Do as much the night before as you can. Including laying out clothes, fixing lunches, and having breakfast items ready to make.
I have a daily checklist in the kitchen for each family member! tracietrump@yahoo.com
Prepare things the night before – less confusion in the morning.
Have everything ready the night before – clothes, breakfast dishes on the table, keys on the counter, backpacks by the door because getting them up early is hard after they slept till noon all summer!

What a wonderful giveaway. I get everything prepared the night before to avoid hassles of rushing.
My tip is to write everything out on the calendar! As soon as I get the sheet that has all the school activities listed on it, I write everything down. Otherwise I completely forget about it.

Do homework first thing when you get home from school. It will make everyone crabby if you’re scrambling to get it done right before bedtime or first thing in the morning.

My daughter has to have her clothes “laid” out the night before–being a teeny bopper she likes to change her mind several times about what to wear-but changing her mind is not an option once they’re laid out…also books in backpack, notes signed etc the night before
I have my kids put thier backpacks next to the door when they are done with thier homework and thier shoes so i am not looking all over for them in the morning

Get everything ready the night before and buy more school supplies at the beginning of the year than you think you’ll need so you’ll have them on hand.
tip I have to make surviving the back to school season easier is to add humor
My tip is to make sure you have plenty of money, what with school photos, student body cards, lunch money, school supplies and everything else-going back to school costs a fortune.

Make lunches in the evening so that you’re not scrambling in the morning.

The main thing is to get everything ready the night before – backpack, clothes, as much lunch as possible, breakfast table set.
All backpacks must be packed and set by the front door by bedtime so we don’t have the panic in looking for stuff the next morning.
Buy in bulk and prepare everything the night before (clothes, books, lunches, etc.).
Start the kids on their lessons early. We started a month early and they were way more relaxed going into day 1.
We plan ahead the night before for clothes, lunches, homework etc.
Thanks for the chance.

We homeschool, so we don’t have all the hustle, bustle, and frenzy that some have. During all the back-to-school sales, we just take advantage of them to make sure we are stocked up with supplies for the year or so.
what works best in my family is getting everything ready the night before
I make sure the kids have a good breakfast, and we talk about what they need for the day, and what activities they have for the day.

I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE THIS PACKAGE…AND MAKE SURE YOUR KIDS GET 8 HOURS OF SLEEP EVERY NIGHT
Make sure you or your children pack their back packs up each night so there won’t be running around in the morning trying to pull it all together at the last minute.

We get a desk top calendar and write in all the dates such as band, appts, after school activities and assignment dates. We check it each day to make sure we don’t forget anything that is needed for the day.
prepare the night before- set it out the night before
I do everything the night before. I lay out the outfits, get the cereal bowls ready, set out coats and shoes, pack lunches, and bathe everyone. It saves so much time in the mornings.
I don’t have kids but my husband is a teacher and gets up way before the crack of dawn…he picks out his outfits the night before and has everything ready to go so he doesn’t have to think that early in the morning!
