For Father’s Day, our family first went to church, where my grandfather who passed away in February was honored. Then, we all went out to eat and headed over to my parents house to swim for the rest of the afternoon. It was a wonderful day spend with our family. Thanks!
We planned a big dinner for him
My husband and my father have both passed, so this Father’s Day we just took the day to look back on fond memories.
No father’s day celebration
My best memories of time spent with my Dad was learning how to hunt and fish!
We went to my sisters to hang out and eat steaks with my dad…. watched a little baseball and had some fresh strawberries and pie crust for desert.
The father figure in my life was my grandpa–my real dad was in prison while I was growing up. My grandpa taught me so many great things in life. I miss him very much and always smile when I remember him

I plan on taking him out to the Bru’s Room and probably to a movie as a late Father’s Day celebration when he feels better.
We got up and went to church as a family. Spent the afternoon just enjoying being together and then had a special dinner. The perfect day.

My father died a few years ago of Cancer. He was on Hospice and died in our home. He was always a good man with funny stories and bad groaner jokes. He was the family geneologist and I wish I had listened a little closer to who was who. When we were going over his funeral plans. I asked him who he wanted for his pall bearers and he answered ” Whoever shows up.” And then he said his only grandson – John.
We celebrated his baptism on Father’s Day, which was amazing!
