One of our family traditions that always takes place after the Thanksgiving dinner is watching football. Of course, almost everyone ends up nodding off before a game is finished, which is understandable after all of the wonderful food, but it’s still an activity that draws the family together. One of the most anticipated games for us actually takes place on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, when SEC Mississippi rivals the University of Mississippi and Mississippi State University compete in the Egg Bowl. My family is crazy about the Ole Miss Rebels, so we never miss this game!

We watch it on tv during Thanksgiving…everyone but the littlest kids and my mother-in-law who don’t like or care about the game. Otherwise, we are all glued to the screen. We all watch the Super Bowl. And my husband and I watch the regular games throughout the year and compete against one another on a Fantasy Football team we’ve been on for several years(ugh, we’re doing just awful this year though, both of us).
We only watch the Super Bowl, but we have tons of snacks.

We used to have mini pools on the big games like the Super Bowl. It cost a while $1 to play. But we have not done that in years (we need to reinstate it). Thank you
