Summer school for this Mama is finished! I am thrilled to report I got an A in both classes I took. I signed up for Gender and Development and The History of American Sports. They sounded pretty easy and because they were offered online from the local university I figured I would just fit it right in along with everything else.
May I offer you some advice? Two online classes at one time (at least from my university) during a summer session is the equivalent to a full time job and I am so not kidding, folks. I don’t know how I survived on such little sleep, so many assignments due at once, along with everything else…BUT…I did it! Thanks to my husband, my parents, and my grandmother who entertained E.B. while I worked tirelessly everyday, I will now be able to renew my teaching license.
Just pray I find a job. Not looking so great on that front at the moment.
And for all of you who still check in, thanks for bearing with me while I was away. Did I tell you how fabulous you look today?

Woo hoo! Congrats on the A's in the classes! I let my license lapse, so I need to take some classes too. Even though I'm not working, I still want to keep it active, just in case. Good luck with finding a job, I hope you'll find one easily.I actually know a couple of teachers from my last school that were laid off due to budget cuts.
