September is for soups, and today, I am so excited to share with you some products that will make serving up delicious soups and other items a breeze this fall and winter. If you’re into prepping your pantry for the colder months ahead, you will definitely want to keep reading!
Frontier Soups
Frontier Soups contacted me and offered to let me try a few of their products, so of course, I said yes! Our family loves a good, hearty soup in the cooler months. Our box of very generous mixes arrived, and I was so excited to see such a great variety of soup mixes, frittata, and dip mixes!
Naturally, living in the Mississippi Delta, the first soup mix I wanted to try was the Mississippi Delta Tomato Basil Soup!
I love that Frontier Soup easily provides all the nutritional information and additional products you may need to make their soup mixes right on the back.
Their soup mixes are made with real ingredients and contain no added salt or artificial anything! Additionally, you can customize these mixes to make them vegetarian or vegan! You are in control of what is added to these mixes! You can see on the back of this soup mix that ALL the ingredients listed are vegetables, rice, and spices!
For this particular mix, I followed the back of the package and added chicken broth, tomato puree, brown sugar, and heavy cream.
The soup’s instructions can be found on the back of the packaging.
A delicious soup in 30 minutes or less? Yes, please! And look at these beautiful dry ingredients in the package!
Adding in the ingredients and cooking the soup was so easy! The smell of tomato and basil filled our home in no time, and I was already convinced this soup would taste delicious!
The Result
In 30 minutes, I had a pot full of hot soup, and I couldn’t wait to try it out. It looked so hearty and smelled so good!
I think this Mississippi Delta Tomato Basil Soup is so delicious! It was very filling, and I can’t wait to try the other soup mixes I was sent! I will also share those with y’all as I make them in the coming months.
Why Frontier Soups?
-Frontier Soup Mixes are such a time saver! We all have busy schedules or times when we don’t have the mental energy to plan a meal for a day or two. You can grab a soup mix and a few ingredients you probably already have on hand and have lunch or dinner ready quickly.
-These soup mixes are shelf-stable and have a best-if-used-by date of 24-30 months, which makes them great for stocking your pantry. They won’t ever expire, but dry ingredients can lose coloring and flavor over time, so just be aware of that.
-All Frontier mixes are gluten-free except for the Beef Barley, Little Italy Wedding Soup, and Mushroom Barley. This is great news for those who follow a gluten-free plan of eating. You can read their frequently asked questions page for additional dietary information and answers to other questions.
You can find Frontier mixes at various stores using their store locator, but if you don’t have a store near you that carries them, don’t despair! You can order them online AND get 10% off your first order using the code MANDY10!

They look good!! I love fall soup weather…and football games with soup and sandwiches. It’s still really hot here now, which is unusual, but that chill is on the way. And so is soup!!

I’m the only soup lover in my family, but those look delicious!

Yes, we use those too. It is still too hot for soup here, but I am looking forward to it once the weather changes-December? January? LOL.

I was cooking today and thought that it’s about time to start making soup. These look good – especially the tomato basil soup. I had that at a restaurant last night and really enjoyed it. I’m going to check these out. Thanks!
