It’s very exciting when your child starts learning how to read. Suddenly, they can recognize letters and start putting together words and happily spell and sound them out to you whenever they can. The A-B-C Game -This is a great game if you are on a long car trip. Start at the letter A and see if your child can identify objects they see along the way that correspond with each letter of the alphabet in order. You can also mix it up and just write down what you see even if it isn’t in alphabetical order.
