This is my first time participating in Prime Purchases, a link-up hosted by Tanya on her blog, The Other Side of the Road.

Prime Purchases 2024

I’m afraid my list of things I ordered for January won’t be very long.  It was a super busy month, and I didn’t NEED a thing, but I had some Amazon gift cards I received for Christmas and found a couple of “wants” to use them on.

Pajamas

I am very, very particular about my pajamas and loungewear.  I’m not too fond of polyester and prefer cotton blends for material.  I saw this cute pajama set and decided to try it.  I was hesitant to order this because I didn’t recognize the brand name, and I was worried they would run small, but y’all….they are perfection!  I am so happy with my purchase and will order a few more!

Would I sleep in these?  No.  I prefer to sleep in a tank and shorts set, no matter how cold it is.  This is what I considered loungewear and would be worn around the house once I woke up.

Pens

Pens are another item I am a stickler about.  I love these InkJoy gel pens and order them by the package and box when I get them.  I keep a couple in my purse and many on my desk.  They usually get stolen by the Teen and the Hubby for school and work.  Haha!  They also come in various colors, and I have a pack of those to use in my planners.  I used to be a strict Bic pen user, but I tried one of these one day and was absolutely sold!

So, we have established that pens and pajamas are things that I won’t compromise on!  Haha!  But seriously, the older I get, I know what I like and prefer to spend a little more sometimes on things that I know I will love and use for a long time.  Not that these items were bank-breakers.  Just simple joys that I use very frequently.

So, that’s what I primed in January!  Feel free to join in at Tanya’s link!

That was interesting – summing up your Prime purchases. We order a lot from Amazon, so I’m not sure what our list would look like. I’m almost afraid to see.

Guess what – nurses are funny about pens too. I’ve never tried these but will test them out.
Thanks for taking part in this, I always enjoy seeing things that other people enjoy.

    Hello my Lovely!
Hmmm, I didn’t realize I should be fussier about pens. Lol They sound great thought! And I’m such a journaling kinda gal – I guess it makes sense. 😉
And I’m with you with pj’s I can only wear a t-shirt to bed. But I love sets like that for lounging in the AM or evenings.
    Blessings on your Monday! xo
