My JCP Secret Santa Revealed!

Posted on January 9, 2012January 9, 2012 by Mandy

I mentioned before in a previous post how much fun I had being a “Secret Santa” to another fellow blogger  during the jcpenney Secret Santa Tags blog tour, and I’d like to reveal who I played Santa to and also who was my Secret Santa and what I received.  I was given $50 to spend at jcp.com on anything I thought the recpient of my gift would like.  Do you know how much fun I had scouring the jcpenney website for just the right gift?  Too much fun!  There were so many wonderful possibilities that I’ll admit it took me quite a while.

Angela from Fab Find Foodie was the recipient of the Secret Santa gift I was to buy and she listed that she loved anything for cooking or entertaining, and here in the South we do love some entertaining!  I fell in love with this dual beverage dispensor and have seen them at so many receptions and parties.  I crossed my fingers that Angela wouldn’t have one and chose this for her gift.

I sure hope Angela can get some great use of this gift as she is entertaining in her home.

Samantha from As They Grow Up was my JCP Secret Santa and she did a fabulous job choosing something I am so excited about! I listed any sort of beauty product as what I would love the most, and Samantha picked me out this great Macadamia Healing Oil Treatment for my hair.

What a luxury! Since my hair tends to dry out easily, I have to deep condition it at least once a week.  This stuff not only promises to relieve that dryness, but it will also cut down on hairdrying time.  Bonus!   This was so appreciated and will definitely spoil my hair!  Thank you so much, Samantha!

A big THANK YOU to Mom Central and jcpenney for this wonderful opportunity.  This was a really fun and unique way of getting and getting gifts during the holiday season!

I wrote this review while participating in a campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of jcpenney and received a jcpenney Secret Santa gift and a promotional item to thank me for participating.

Printable Subway Art Craft

I thought I’d share my first attempt at a Pinterest-inspired craft.  I ran across this beautiful framed printable Family Rules subway art and since it only required a printer and a picture frame, it was right up my alley because I am the most non-crafty person.

You can see the original post and instructions at Budget Wise Home, and there’s even more free printable subway art located there that you can download, print, and frame.  It’s a super inexpensive and easy way to add some décor to your home.
