Varicose Vein Treatment Options- Vein Clinics of America

Posted on January 19, 2013January 10, 2016 by Mandy

Let’s face it, varicose and spider veins can make anyone feel self-conscious about their appearance.  If you are a woman, you might find yourself avoiding certain styles of dress in order to hide your legs.  However, the real problem with these conditions is that they often cause pain and swelling, fatigue, and itching and burning that just gets worse over time.  If you are on your feet for long periods of time, this can certainly interfere with how well you feel during the day.

If you have very noticeable varicose veins in your legs, you’ve probably thought about treatment to correct the problem and wonder, is it affordable? The great thing about receiving treatment at a Vein Clinics of America clinic is that they meet with you to personally review your insurance benefits with you to help you make the best choice for treatment.

Vein issues aren’t just limited to your legs, however.  As we age, the skin on our hands can stretch and relax, causing veins to appear larger. Veins can also appear more pronounced on the facial area.   Some people also deal with deep vein thrombosis, which can be a very serious condition.  If you have noticeable veins, it’s definitely worth a trip to a medical professional at the Vein Clinics of America to get yourself checked out.

Vein Clinics of America has many locations nationwide. The Dallas varicose vein treatment center is closer to me regionally, but their many locations make it convenient for anyone to seek treatment.

Farm Living Ain’t The Life For Him

E.B. got to go to a birthday party this weekend for a friend and the party was a farm theme.  He was so excited because the kids were able to take a spin on a real tractor and check out other farm equipment.  Later that evening, my mom called to see if he had a good time and asked him a few questions.

MOM….”I’m so glad you had fun!  Do you want to be a farmer now when you grow up?”

EB……”NOOOO!!!  I don’t want to be a “cropper”!!  It’s the hardest job in the world ever and it would take me HOURS to finish all those fields and it never ends!!!”

So, at the tender age of 7, my son definitely knows he doesn’t want to be a “cropper” when he grows up.  I’m also pretty sure I never have to worry about him becoming addicted to Farmville when he’s old enough to use Facebook, either.
