Do you see that little sandwich up there? I’m convinced I could eat them for every meal and be a happy woman. They are called Lavash Sandwiches (or Lahvosh…I’ve seen it spelled two different ways online) and I discovered them in our local Kroger Deli. I’ve had these before at a reception once and then promptly forgot all about them. Kroger sells them for $3.99 for 6 and I just know I could totally make these myself at home if only I could find the lavash bread. Apparently our Kroger doesn’t sell it. Boo. And the bread is what totally makes the sandwich. I’ve ran across a few recipes online that I may try out next weekend. Do any of my readers eat these on a regular basis? I know I could just suck it up and make myself a ham sandwich already, but like I said…the bread is to die for.

I have never heard of this before. I'll have to see if any stores here sell it. I'd like to try it now 🙂

I know this is going to be hard to believe, but I used to buy those at the deli in Wal-mart back in Enterprise. They were VERY good! 🙂

There is a brand of Lavash that we buy from time to time. It is so healthy for us, low cards and delicious. TechyDad bought them the other day and made PB and cucumber sushi for the boys.

It's just like when I try to find the thin Syrian pita break (not that fake stuff that doesn't split open). I have yet to be successful but was glad to see that my Harris Teeter now carries naan…Yum!
