I received the product pictured below in exchange for my honest review. No other compensation was received.

My job as a librarian in an elementary school requires me to be a meticulous manager of my time.  I shuffle seven classes in and out in a day’s time and have to make sure I leave enough time at the end of each class to clean up and make way for the next group of kids coming.  I have to use my planning time wisely and often find myself down in the copy room where there is no wall clock, so making sure I don’t run late for my next class is crucial.  Teachers don’t like to be made to wait when it’s their planning period and I’m supposed to be taking their students!  Since becoming an educator many years ago, wearing a watch has become absolutely second nature because I have to be aware of the time no matter where I’m at in any given part of the school.  This was hard for me to get used to since I’m not one who wears a lot of accessories in the first place, and I’m also very picky when it comes to style.  Watches with metal bands were uncomfortable, so those were always out.  Leather bands often felt hot and sweaty in the summer months, so I would take them off to let my wrist “breathe” throughout the day.  Did I already say that I’m also picky about the style of the watch itself?  Yeah.  You’d often find me wearing the same old watch for years and years until it literally fell apart.

Finding a comfortable, stylish watch has always been a challenge, but since experiencing the natural wood band of a stylish Jord Wooden Watch, I’m completely sold on this unique and beautiful way of keeping time.  Before giving this watch a try, I had never seen a wooden band used on a watch and figured it would be a little uncomfortable, but I couldn’t have been more wrong!  The watch I have, the Frankie 35 , is not only comfortable to wear, but also absolutely beautiful and I love how the face of the watch catches reflections and light and gives off such a different look at any given moment.

Jord has an absolutely stunning line of watches in their men’s shop and women’s shop to choose from.  These make the perfect gifts for any occasion and are truly packaged in such a beautiful way that the product packaging itself is genious!  When your watch arrives, it comes in a beautiful wooden box, complete with cleaning oil and a special cloth to get you started off right in caring for your new watch.

You can also make these watches super special as a gift by having them engraved.  Check out Jord’s Pinterest Page to see how personal and special you can make any Jord watch for any occasion.  I opted not to have mine engraved, but now I wish I would have!  You can even have the beautiful box engraved as well!

My watch features a dark sandalwood as the band, but there are so many other wood option to choose from, including walnut, bamboo, maple, zebrawood, and so many more.  The quality is outstanding and each piece is handcrafted from raw materials.
