I woke up this morning (at 10 AM, oh sweet heavenly, blissful weekend!!) to rain, but this didn’t put a damper on things today because my little family and I had plans to stay in anyway. We’ve been patiently waiting for today, the day we would all be together with no obligations, to put up our Christmas tree. I’m still in my pajamas at almost 4 pm. Cracked Daddy has been running some errands as needed (more lights…more garland…etc.) and E.B. is happily playing underfoot in the middle of it all. The XM radio is tuned to Channel 4, classic Christmas songs. I’ve even managed to sneak in some Christmas shopping online. We’ve all been going full force since before Thanksgiving and today has been the most perfect day for unwinding, getting into the holiday spirit, and just being together. I hope your Saturday has been just as blissful!

Definitely love this time of year. I love finding old Christmas movies on the TV to curl up and watch with the kids.
