To make mealtimes easier, I try to have some parts of the meal prepared beforehand. Or I get out what I need (minus perishables) in the morning and put it on the counter first thing in the morning.

Meal planning and eating simple meals are the only things that help us. We have our plan written out on the fridge so no one has to ask what’s for dinner or come up with something last minute.

Our schedule doesn’t get more hectic in the summer. Everything is pretty much the same throughout the year. We cook and eat whatever we’re in the mood for no matter what time of the year it is. If we’re out somewhere, we eat out.

  69. Cody says

    August 2, 2011 at 11:40 am

When life gets hectic, we find it easy to succumb to fast food or odering pizzas. However, I usually will try to plan dinner the night before so I can have things prepared. That way, it doesn’t seem like such a task the next night.
