Toothpaste
Taking a dab of toothpaste and applying it to your bug bite helps tremendously. Leave it on for a few hours and the toothpaste will help to dry out the bug bite and help it to reduce the swelling as well.
Garlic
Raw garlic clove is a great remedy for a mosquito bite. All you have to do is peel a clove of garlic and rub that on the mosquito bite. It will help to heal the bite and prevent you from the feeling the need to scratch.
Aloe
Aloe is an amazing remedy for many many things. Most people keep aloe in their home in order to treat sunburns. What you might not know is that it’s great for bug bites as well. Just apply directly to your bites and you will definitely feel some instant relief.
Essential Oils
A lot of folks are really big into essential oils these days. They are very natural and there are several that heal various types of things such as toothaches, headaches, body pain, and that’s right… bug bites! I recommend Tea Tree essential oil. It will dry out the bites as well as heal them. Not to mention, it will also help prevent future bites by repelling mosquitos.
