E.B. got to go to a birthday party this weekend for a friend and the party was a farm theme.  He was so excited because the kids were able to take a spin on a real tractor and check out other farm equipment.  Later that evening, my mom called to see if he had a good time and asked him a few questions.

MOM….”I’m so glad you had fun!  Do you want to be a farmer now when you grow up?”

EB……”NOOOO!!!  I don’t want to be a “cropper”!!  It’s the hardest job in the world ever and it would take me HOURS to finish all those fields and it never ends!!!”

So, at the tender age of 7, my son definitely knows he doesn’t want to be a “cropper” when he grows up.  I’m also pretty sure I never have to worry about him becoming addicted to Farmville when he’s old enough to use Facebook, either.

Hahaha he’s adorable! A cropper would be a hard job. But how cool that they got to ride around in a tractor!!

Being a farmer is a tough, grueling job most of the time. I live in an area where I’m surrounded by farmers. Personally, I’ve never been interested in farming either.

LOL, he’s right, though. Being a farmer is a never ending job. Hey, at least he has one thing ruled out 🙂
