I love fall and I love when it’s finally time to start pulling out our fall home decor products. While most of the United States is welcoming in autumn and the cooler weather, I’m sorry to say that we here in the south are still sweating it out with 90+ degree days. Add in the mosquitoes and I promise this is exactly what it’s like:
Anyway, I don’t let the fact that it doesn’t even feel like fall deter me from getting excited about the cooler weather that will surely reach us by November! I get my husband to unpacking the fall home decor products and every manner of thing that brings me autumnal joy, which he just loves. Those words in italics? That’s sarcasm. But he’s a good sport, nonetheless! It doesn’t take very much to help me set the fall mood in our home, so I thought I’d share a few of my favorite fall items I love to drag out this time of year.
1. The very first thing I hang up is a beautiful fall wreath. I just love a simple looking wreath with berries. Ours pretty much bit the dust and fell apart last year due to many years of use, so I’m ordering this one. (Want to see a huge DUD of a wreath I bought in the past? *giggle*)
2. I always stock our kitchen and bathrooms with seasonal soaps and this Marshmallow Pumpkin Spice Latte soap is so yummy smelling!
3. I don’t care what anyone says, if you want a fantastic smelling candle that smells JUST like fall should, without being too overpowered by cinnamon and pumpkin, Autumn in the Park by Yankee Candle is THE candle to buy. They come in many different sizes and price points. They even have melts and room sprays.
4. A beautiful pumpkin topiary is just the thing to greet your visitors! I love that it has LED lights. I thought this one was just perfect for our front door.
5. I love coffee, especially when the weather starts turning cooler. I do not, however, love pumpkin spice coffee. I’m sure that probably ruins my “lover of all the fall things” street cred, but there you have it. I don’t like my coffee to taste like pumpkin. However, I do like a cute fall coffee mug and this just fits the bill!
6. I love writing and I have about elventy-billion journals, but there is just something about this autumn themed journal that is calling my name.
