What do you call amazingly beautiful things that are completely impractical and pretty much useless in your everyday life, but you still find the need to re-pin on Pinterest?  I call it Eye Candy, and have named a board on my Pinterest account accordingly. Sometimes I just throw things on this board when I can’t think of another category to put it in, but mostly they’re just beautiful things that, like I said, are pretty to look at.

A beta fish. I had one back in high school that lived for 4 years! They’re beautiful to watch, but I’m afraid with two cats in the house they would just become an appetizer.

Kitchen Aid Mixers. Aren’t they beautiful? I don’t bake nearly enough to justify having one of these, but I could look at these beautiful colors all day. Well, not really all day. But they’re pretty.

Candy. And birthday stuff. And more candy!!!! Stuff I can’t re-create even if I tried. But it’s cute.

A turquoise antique doorknob on an old white door. Beautiful. Pretty to look at, for sure. It would definitely look out of place with our decor, though.

Do you have a similar board on Pinterest?
