Spread the love

What’s your daily makeup routine?  I always love to hear about products people are using and try out some new things every once in a while.  I’m very basic when it comes to makeup, however.  I love watching Youtube videos of people doing their makeup, but I just don’t have time to use alllll the products they use and I’ve personally found that less is more for my 40-something skin.

Flawless Fusion Ultra-Longwear Foundation 2N1.5 Beige CoverGirl Invisible Concealer Fair(N) 115, 0.32-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 2) Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder, Translucent, 1 Ounce Urban Decay Naked Basics Eyeshadow Palette theBalm Balm Beach Face Blush warm it up Doucce Maxlash Volumizer Mascara, Black, 13.5 Gram Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick, Smoky Rose Makeup Brushes Set, Anjou 8 Pieces Synthetic Makeup Brushes For All Look, Foundation Blush Face Concealer Eyeliner Shadow Cosmetics Brush Set, Waterproof Cosmetic Bag Included

For foundation, I use the Laura Mercier brand.  It has fantastic coverage!  I was so heartbroken when Beauticontrol went out of business and I had to find something else to use.  I had worn that brand since I was 14 years old!  However, a co-worker of mine had such beautiful looking skin and makeup and I asked her what she used.  This was it.

Cover Girl concealer has been one I’ve used for years, even throughout high school.  It goes on great and stays in place.  I use this daily under my eyes to try to mask those dark circles.

For a setting powder, I decided again to go with Laura Mercier.  It has such a smooth, beautiful finish.

I don’t experiment too much with vivid colors, so the Urban Decay Naked Basics Eye Shadow palette has the perfect neutral colors.  This eye shadow is so pigmented and a little goes a long way.

I just love products from The Balm.  They have such fun, catchy names for their colors.  I love their blushes and I use this Balm Beach blush.

I received a sample of this Doucce Maxlash Volumizer mascara and fell in love with it.  I have very sensitive eyes and it’s hard to find a mascara that offers long wear and loooong looking lashes!  This does it perfectly without irritating my eyes.

It’s hard for me to find a lipstick that doesn’t irritate my lips.  I have tried many, many lipsticks over the years and finally settled with Revlon lipstick for my daily use.  The color I use is Smoky Rose and it’s a beautiful neutral that adds just the right amount of color.

Last but not least, I use this Anjou brush set for applying it all.  It has just the basic set of brushes I need and I’ve washed them over and over since I received them as a Christmas gift last year and they have held up beautifully!

I’d love to hear what your daily makeup routine is like.  What products do you love?
