A couple of weekends ago we went to our town’s annual Crosstie Arts & Jazz Festival. It’s exactly what it sounds like; live jazz music, art of every medium for sale (clothing, jewelry, paintings, pottery, wood, etc.) and many, many fabulous food vendors all on the court house lawn.
In my teen years, this was just a fun event to hang out at and to “see and be seen”. In my twenties and early thirties I was all about some pottery and decorating our home. Now? I’m just ALL about this:

We went and had lunch (pizza for E.B., BBQ sandwich for the hubs, and crawfish for me), checked out the kid’s section for E.B., and then left. It was a gorgeous day because CRAWFISH!
