Nuts are a staple in most of our holiday recipes around our home.  I use them in several of my holiday recipes and love the texture and flavor that they add to these dishes, not to mention, they’re just plain great to snack on by themselves.  Chef Alex has compiled a list of 10 Simple Twists for Cooking With Nuts that you will absolutely want to check out before you begin your holiday cooking to get the most out of using nuts in your recipes or just for snacking.  If you are like me and need a little visual inspiration for incorporating nuts into your dishes, Chef Alex also has 9 great-looking recipes to try out using Fisher brand nuts.

Be sure to follow Chef Alex on Twitter and like Fisher Nuts Facebook page to learn about even more great way to jazz up your dishes with nuts.

I make a fruit salad that calls for walnuts and I use walnuts in preparing my sweet potatoes. I use pecans or walnuts in cinnamon bread, brownies, and in my cheesecake. I could not get through the holidays without nuts and I do use Fisher nuts.
