Books By Leslie Patricelli

E.B. and I recently had the opportunity to check out two great books by children’s author Leslie Patricelli. We received Higher, Higher and Baby Happy, Baby Sad. We were really impressed with Higher, Higher and it’s vibrant illustrations. Patricelli’s books offer up very simplistic writing on a child’s level, but as a former librarian I can tell you it’s tough for a book to convey it’s message with so few words unless the illustrations are exactly on target, and they definitely are in these books. E.B. begged to have them read to him over and over again and we were so excited to have the chance to add them to our home library. If you’re in the market for some great new books aimed at the younger child, we promise these will not disappoint!
