I haven’t been on a ferris wheel in almost 12 years, and really don’t plan to ever again, but I almost had a moment of weakness and gave in a couple of weekends ago when E.B. begged to get on.

I mean, look at the beautiful colors.  The blue sky with cotton candy clouds as our backdrop….

The gentle high climb of each basket….

and the slow, stomach-dropping fall of each basket…

And then I remembered that he was only 6 years old, had never been on a ferris wheel in his life, and wearing puke on the way home probably wasn’t going to be my best look.

So we didn’t.

OH my goodness, I can’t ride any rides anymore, it’s bad. I used to be a roller coaster fanatic, do any ride, etc… now not so much so I make the step dad go with my daughter who is 8 and last year he went with our son who was three on the ferris wheel, they LOVED IT!

I don’t blame you at all. I got on one years ago and cried the entire time. They just look like one big death trap waiting to happen!
