Ok, ladies. I need serious, serious help. Just in the last week I have noticed how severe the wrinkles on my face are getting, especially under my eyes. I have the usual “character lines” (as my dad calls them) around the sides of my eyes that are visible when I laugh or smile (or furrow my brows in seriousness when my son tests his limits, which is pretty much daily, and wouldn’t ya know it….a deep wrinkle is forming between my eyebrows, too), but it’s all becoming so much more noticeable. Or maybe I’m finally slowing down enough to look real hard.

In any case? I’m looking old. OLD!!! And I’m only 35. I’m not ready to look this old yet. Tell me your magic skincare secrets. What products do you use? Do they really work? Will I have to sell a body part to be able to afford it? And no, I’m not a big water drinker, and I’ll bet that has something to do with it, right?

I noticed a few wrinkles around my eyes also and when I complained to my hubby he was like "What are you talking about?" So I guess that's a good thing, right? Maybe it's just because I look at my face more closely and noticed things others don't. But at any rate, I am seriously fixing to invest in some wrinkle creme lol.

A friend took a photo of The Child and me this weekend at the Christmas parade and it was cute. I was going to crop just me to use on my blog and heavens to betsy! When I did and saw the photo closer up there were crow's feet for days! I had no idea I look like that when I smile. I'm 37.

So I use Philosophy products, which I love, but which I'm thinking I started using too late.

Water, plenty of rest, diet, exercise and genetics all play a part as I'm sure you know. 🙂

If you've never followed a skin care regimen, I'd start with getting some expert advice and THEN deciding which products you want to use. And they don't have to be expensive, either. 🙂

Mornings I use an eye gel and a moisterizer with an SPF 15. before bed, I use a face wash, an eye cream and a heavier, night moisterizer. I use Garnier products. I try to do a mask every 2 weeks and have a facial as frequently as I can.

Of course I'm almost 20 years older than you, so I require a lot more maintenance. 😉
