I’m participating in a link-up today at Mississippi Women Bloggers.

What part of Mississippi are you from?

I live in the Delta. My husband and I have an 8-year-old son and two very spoiled cats.

How long have you been blogging?

5 years. I’m pretty sure that makes me a dinosaur in blog years! LOL!

Why did you start blogging?

I started blogging mostly out of boredom!  LOL!  I was a stay-at-home mom at that time, and I loved to write.  I ran across a few blogs online and figured it would be a great way to connect with other moms and fulfill that need to write.

Tell us what we can expect when reading your blog.

When you visit my blog, you can expect to see posts about my life, product reviews, and updates about my work (I’m a children’s librarian in an elementary school).

What does your blog title mean?

I love to read and write, but my greatest joy is being a mom, so that’s what Read. Write. Mom! means.

What do you love about being part of Mississippi Women Bloggers?

Finally getting to know some bloggers from Mississippi!  When I first started blogging, there weren’t a whole lot of women from Mississippi who blogged.  I ran across a few, and instantly felt a sort of connection with them.  I’m so glad to see so many more!

Who inspires you to blog?

My family inspires me.  Most of the stories on my blog revolve around being a mom and wife.

Do your real-life friends know that you blog?  How do they respond?

My close friends and family know that I do, but I doubt that they read it very much.  When they do, they are very supportive, especially my husband and parents.

What is your blogging routine (if you have one)?

I used to try to post at least three times a week.  Sometimes I make that goal, but it’s hard to make it happen sometimes because of work and family obligations.  Here lately, I just try to shoot for once a week.  It’s easy to get consumed with it all.

We all love social media!  Are there any social media links you would like to share so we can follow you?

I have links to all of my social media in the header of my blog, but you can find me on Facebook and Twitter most often.

Name 3 bloggers who have not joined Mississippi Women Bloggers that you would like to see join us!

Keetha, Rachel, and Barbie.

    Hey Girly from the Delta!

Loved your patriotic ring bearer. My girls will be flower girls next month in my cousins wedding. I think my 6 year old will do fine, but I have my doubts about my 3 year old. – It should make a good post!

So glad you linked up! I have enjoyed reading. One thing that sets you apart from several of our other MSWB is your product reviews. We’d love for you to submit a post on Tech Tuesday telling us how you got involved in writing them. Give tips or a tutorial for others to do the same if they want. Thanks for linking up!
