Today is National Milk Day, a day set aside to commemorate the first delivering of milk to homes in sterilized glass bottles in 1878. That shelf stable milk is so awesome for traveling. Just take that and a box of cereal and bam, it’s an inexpensive breakfast on the go!
Ok, I have to say that I’ve never heard of shelf stable milk, but I think I need to look for it the next time I’m at the grocery store. It would be a GREAT addition to our emergency kit 🙂
