I had a reader to ask me what became of that bump on my eyeball, so I thought I would give you all an update.

So, here is a little side by side comparison of what it looked like before and what it looks like now.

It’s been three months, and while the bump is not totally gone (and may never be), it definitely looks much better.

So what helped?  I suppose time.  I haven’t been using any medication on it and I never went back to the eye doctor.  Nobody has asked me anything about it in the last month or so, so I guess it’s not really noticeable unless you really stare into my eyes.  Thank goodness for that, because before, it practically jumped out at you!  Ha!

So, while it’s not completely gone, this is definitely much better and less noticeable.

I got the same bump on the left top corner of my eyeball. I had it for a little over a year. I used Similasan Stye eye drop it seem to worked then it came back just recently about 2 months ago. I had this thing since early-mid 2011 and it is already Dec.2012. It went away for about 8-10 months and it came back at the exact same spot. It is a small bump but it is really getting on my nerves. I don’t know if it is a Stye or Cyst. I bought the same brand again and used it, it went away for a few weeks then it came back so that is why I’m going to get it checked out this thursday 12/6/12.

I have the same bump on my eye ball and have had it for almost a months. It comes and goes but leaves my eye blood shot red in the corner. I put a hot compress on it when it gets really tender. I’m afraid to wear my contacts anymore because im afraid it will hurt or make it worse. It started in the corner of my right eye lasted for months went away completly in that eye and now is in the left side. This sucks
