I’ve been thinking about what I want from the new year ahead, and instead of limiting myself to the usual resolutions of "I’m going to stop doing this…", or "no more of this…", I thought instead I would make a list of everything I want to do. While this list is certainly frivolous, I definitely do have some bigger goals in mind. But this? Is just more fun.
2012 Bucket List
Master Eye Shadow Application- we discussed this in my last post.
Grow my hair out and work with it’s natural wave and stop abusing it with the flat iron so much.
Paint my fingernails more. I can’t keep them too long because I wear contacts, but I can start enjoying color more. I’ll just leave the crazy colors for my toes.
Write more letters and send more cards. This is becoming a dying art, folks.
Fill up all of the 500 picture frames I have in storage. Since joining Pinterest, I have become inspired!
Not feel one ounce of guilt for watching the shows I’ve become addicted to since being home on Christmas break. Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Tabitha’s Salon Takeover, and Toddler’s and Tiaras, anyone? So bad, it’s good!
So there’s my superficial New Year’s resolutions list. Care to share any of yours?

Bucket Lists are so much fun, especially when you get to cross off items!

This is a fabulous idea. I am not about Resolutions because I feel they kind of set you up for failure.

One of mine is to finally master makeup too! I did not get that gene when it was handed out I’m afraid!! Happy new year to ya!

Great resolutions – I never make any – think I am afraid to fail – maybe THAT needs to be my resolution!
Happy New Year 🙂

Love the notion of your resolutions being about what you want to do more of, and not be limiting. I shall join you in growing my hair out and painting my nails more!

Ohhh, the not feeling guilty about trashy TV is a good one! And speaking of Pinterest I think my goal will be to actually try some of the recipes and crafts on my boards!
